The 1675 boasts the longest production run of all Rolex GMT-Masters. Rolex introduced the GMT-Master around 1959, and the reference remained in production until around 1980. This two decades represents a significant part of Rolex’s history and is recognized by most watch collectors as the golden age of vintage sports watches of any brand. There is no other watch like the Rolex GMT-Master reference 1675.

1675s are incomparable to any other watch, as the variety of dials and beautiful bezels can vary profoundly depending on the years of manufacture and the way they have aged over time. No other Rolex has a bezel as unmistakable as that of a “Pepsi” for steel and brown bitonal on steel and gold with a brown dial. The 1675s with steel and gold cases were not made in the early years of the model’s production. Gmt’s in steel and gold were first introduced around 1970. These models are technically referred to as the 1675/3 GMT-Master I, with “/3” denoting the steel and gold case but only in the catalogs.Unlike the steel model, both the steel/gold 1675 and the gold model were available with two dial color options: black and brown. The brown dials were offered first, followed shortly by the black dials, and both were produced until the end of production of the 1675.

Questo orologio monta uno splendido quadrante mk3 ,si distingue facilmente dai quadranti precedenti e successivi osservando l’allineamento delle scritte “CHRONOMETRO” e “CERTIFIED”. Sul quadrante del Mark 3, le lettere “C” in ogni parola sono allineate verticalmente, mentre su tutti gli altri quadranti marroni le lettere “C” non sono allineate.In poche parole un quadrante rail. Il tutto abbracciato da uno splendido cinturino oyster ripiegato 7836 con finale acciaio 280.
