Men’s Rolex Daytona Beach Green Chrysoprase wristwatch in excellent like new condition, reference 116509, in 18k white gold. This watch features a precious dial made of chrysoprase, a rare variety of chalcedony known for its captivating apple-green colour. Chrysoprase derives its name from the Greek words ‘chrysos’ (gold) and ‘prasinon’ (green). It features hour markers with applied Roman numerals in gold, three chronograph subdials.

The dial has no cracks (as is common on many stone dials). To find a DAYTONA with a dial from the previous Daytona Beach series is extremely unusual, the end result is surprising and innovative. We can only assume that this charismatic dial was fitted at the special request of the owner. The combination of the powerful-looking green chrysoprase dial with the solid gold case and bracelet will certainly not go unnoticed.
