The Milgauss 1019 is the classic example of a watch that was unsold at the time and put back on the market in the following years by Rolex, a feature common to other models including the Daytona.
This Milgauss ref. 1019 was produced in 1979 with serial 6 million.
At the time it was not a model of interest and was not equipped with a bracelet but made in "head only".
It was then sold with a bracelet in 1990 by milling the internal caseback.
This is because the caseback manufactured in 1970 had the inscription Patented, an indication of the Oyster patent, which expired in 1981.
Watch in exceptional condition, original in all its parts and full set.
